Forestry: Tennessee Mountain Management manages timber in excess
of 70,000 acres in Tennessee. We
specialize in timber sale administration, timber inventories, timber appraisals,
and timber trespass on both large and small land holdings. Other forestry services include;
wildlife habitat management, quality deer management, hunting lease administration,
boundary line maintenance, GIS mapping, aerial photo interpretation and
mapping, GPS for forestry applications, exotic plant surveys, exotic plant
eradication, and herbicide application.
Herbicide application can include site prep, release treatments,
eradication, timber stand improvements, etc.
Surveying: Surveying projects have included large and small
boundary surveys, boundary maintenance (marking, painting, and signing
public and private lands), pipeline surveys, electrical utility surveys, topographic
surveys, mining road surveys, control surveys, and synfuel feasibility studies
which included locating and identifying threatened and endangered species
and archeological interests.
Erosion Control: Tennessee Mountain Management utilizes a trailer
mounted 800-gallon hydro seeder, an ATV seeder, straw blower, and hand
methods for erosion control establishment.
Vegetative cover can include grass, legumes, forest tree seedlings,
wildflowers, and wildlife food
